Overview
Your inventory should not accidently be “put on the block” or "accidentally decommissioned" and sold. Countless of our fixed asset managers now apply the bold headline - NOT FOR RESALE or NOT FOR SALE – on each of their asset tags. A simple tag can stop thousands of dollars of asset loss.
- Start by selecting a template. Form this template, you can easily change your text, choose a starting number, color and material.
- An important way to distinguish your tags is to use color. It is easy to swap out headlines or to change a color. Use a particular color to signify assets that are cannot be sold.
- Not for Sale asset tags are often used for "loaners" or demonstration equipment.
