It can be exceedingly expensive to retrofit all of your asset and equipment labels and there is no cost to add this feature to your asset labels at the outset. Note that we print black barcodes on a silver or white background. Although it is possible to create barcodes in reverse on a variety of colors, many have found lower read rates. Contrast, greater distinction between the small and large bars, plus good spacing on either side of the bar-codes are important factors in accurate first-time read rates for your asset tags.
